The image was taken on May 31, 2010 near Campo, Colorado where a monstrous tornado ripped through the ranchland. At the time the picture was taken, the twister was about one mile away. I wrapped my Gorillapod around a barbed wire fence and used it to hold my video camera (the video came out great too!).
